Vision & Hearing Screening

By law, all children age four and older who are new to the district and all children in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first, third, fifth, and seventh grades must be screened for possible vision and hearing problems.  The screening requirement may be met if the child has been screened by a qualified licensed professional or an individual trained to conduct vision or hearing screening who is certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services and a record has been provided.
