The Kelton FFA students went to the Amarillo Farm Show at the Civic Center on November 29, 2016. There they learned about things like water coservation, Ag Business, and farming equipment. In an interveiw with Emily (9th grade) we learned why it was such a great trip, “Not only did I get to hang out with my friends, but I got to remember why I joined Ag. I joined Ag because I come from a long line of farmers and knowing stuff like which irrigation system to use and what type of fertilizer to use when I plant my crops will better me and my future. The Amarillo Farm Show gave me the opportunity to do all this and also to have a great time!” Thanks to Mr. Morgan, students in Agriculture have the opportunity to have great learning experiences like this everytime they enter his classroom.
